Finished!

It is done, methinks! So here it is:

Cleanup phase... completed! Yay! To quote one of my very good friends: 'I'm so happy, I do the dance of joy.' Not that I can actually dance, but it gets the idea across.

So here it is:I'll start shading it tomorrow. Not sure if I'll be able to get it done in one day, but I'm sure going to try.

Still in the cleanup phase. The thing with cleaning stuff up is not that it is necessarily very difficult; the difficult part is figuring out how to actually draw the stuff you want to draw. Cleaning everything up, however, is a rather tedious job that takes a bit of patience. Especially if you're as messy as I am when it comes to the initial sketch. So in this case, the difficult part is actually by far the most fun part.

Aaaanyway, here it is so far:
Faces are all in place and I'm slowly working my way through the different layers, from bottom to top. I'm on the penultimate layer, which is also the biggest one: clothing. Taking a break now, but I'm going to try and finish the doctor and maybe even the woman later this evening.

Started cleaning up the lines. Always a bit of a daunting job, especially with this many lines. Oh yes, and they all have hands now too. Except for the little bugger in the background, but I'll get to him eventually.
My hand is hurting right now, so I'm leaving it at this for today. My deadline, by the way, is the first of June. Which is next week.

It's been a while, and the sketch I've been working on still isn't finished, but my deadline for it is drawing closer, so I'll have to work on it more regularly now. Here's how it looks so far:

I'm a bit ashamed that this is taking me so long, but then again, I've never put this many figures into one drawing before. So yeah... oh well, expect the finished product soonish.

Hello there! Remember that androgynous RP character sketch? Well, it's finished. And there's a clean and a dirty version. Why? Because he's supposed to be all 'dirtsified' and smudgy, but I sorta liked him before the smudges as well.

I think I do actually like the dirty version more, especially because that's how he's supposed to be. But please, if you're reading this (is anybody reading this...?), give your own opinion.

Well hello there! What I predicted in my first post, which was almost a year ago, seems to have actually happened! I know myself too well... Oh well, I've finally decided to come back to this place. And I even have some drawings to post. So without further ado...

Which is a tabletop RPG character of a friend of mine. Not that we still play (I started this drawing before I started this blog), but I thought I'd finally finish it anyway. I kinda like this androgynous bastard. His shoes need remodeling though...

Well, hopefully I WILL keep it up this time. I mean, it's about time I got less lazy. But if not... see you in a year or so.

Too tumps up

I will start this blog with a very crappy doodle I made just now. That way you, my visitor, will know what sort of thing to expect from this blog.

No, my drawing skills are not what they once seemed to be on the way to becoming. A definite decline has set in. Perhaps this just means I need more practice. Perhaps, however, the decline in my drawings is indicative of a different, related decline. The optimist in me is hoping it is the former, and so I have taken my girlfriend's advice and made a decision to start blogging as a way to keep drawing. To keep the muscles active. So this blog is mostly about drawings and sometimes about random tidbits of text that sprout from my putrid little mind. I will also probably abandon it completely in about a week's time, because that's what has happened so far with any blog I've made.

But hey, who knows, I might actually keep it up this time. In any case, welcome to my blog. I hope you will enjoy seeing its contents grow in volume, regardless of whether their quality will improve or decline.
